On 03/27/2018, at 12:16 AM, Augusta University Police detected the strong odor of marijuana in the parking lot adjacent to the 1000 Building of the University Village Apartment Complex. Officers observed a male subject and made contact. The subject admitted to smoking marijuana and throwing the cigarette on the ground. The cigarette was located and tested positive for HTC. The subject (not a AU student) stated he was visiting. The subject was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana and a Criminal Trespass Warning, then released.
