On 01/23/2017, at 1:15 PM, Augusta University Police took a report in reference to a complaint of stalking that occurred in Oak Hall on the Health Sciences Campus.  The victim, a female AU student, stated that her ex-boyfriend, not a AU student, knocked on her dorm room door, she answered and he stated wanted to talk.  The victim advised the subject that she had to leave to go to class, she left the apartment and the subject followed her through the building yelling at her.  The victim left the building, the subject follow her and placed his arms around her at which time the victim pushed the subject away.  While the victim was getting into her vehicle the subject stepped into the path of the door blocking her from closing it.  The subject would not move away from the door, at that point the victim used a stun devise on the subject and he moved to the front of her vehicle to block her from leaving.  The subject did not allow her to leave until the victim threatened to call the police.  The subject followed the victim to the Summerville Campus pulling in behind her, walking up to the window trying to talk with her.  When the subject moved his vehicle the victim drove to Augusta University Police Headquarters and notified police.  The victim was instructed on the process for obtaining a restraining order.  This case is currently under investigation.  Anyone with additional information about this incident may contact the AU Police Department at 706-721-2911.
