On 08/25/2017, at 9:35 AM, Augusta University Police responded to the University Village Apartment Complex in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated he parked his silver 2002 Mitsubishi Galant in front of 3000 building on 08/24/2017, around midnight, unsecured. The victim discovered the vehicle missing on 08/25/2019, at 9:00 AM. A check of the area was made with negative results. On 08/26/2017, Augusta University Police located the stolen vehicle parked on the street in front of 3177 Willow Creek Road; Augusta Georgia. The vehicle was recovered, processed and returned to the owner/victim. Investigation revealed no signs of forced entry and a key fob was found in the center console.
