On 11/05/2017, at 11:46 PM, an Augusta University Police Officer stopped a male subject in Parking Deck 21, on the Health Sciences Campus, for smoking on campus. The officer made contact with the male subject and detected the odor of Marijuana. The subject stated the he and his girlfriend were smoking Marijuana in his vehicle. Officer made contact with a female subject in vehicle, and detected the smoke and odor of marijuana. When questioned, the female subject retrieved a substance believed to be Marijuana from her pants. The substance was taken as evidence and tested positive for THC. Both subjects were issued citations for Possession of Marijuana and released.
