On 11/11/2017, at 11:15 PM, an Augusta University Police Officer observed two male subjects in a white Ford Explorer, parked in the University Village Apartment Complex. When the officer approached the vehicle the driver stepped out of the vehicle, and the passenger ran way. The driver, (an Augusta University student) give consent to search his vehicle and a Marijuana Blunt was located in plain view in the cup holder. The driver identified the passenger. The Blunt was taken as evidence and tested positive for THC. The driver was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana and released. Two warrants were obtained on the second subject for Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and Possession of Marijuana.
