On September 08, 2019 at 11:41 AM, Augusta University Police Department was dispatched to the Augusta University Medical Center PICU waiting room in reference to a battery. When the Officers arrived they met with the offender/visitor. The offender/visitor stated that her and her wife, the victim/visitor, were involved in an altercation. Officers did not see any signs of an altercation. Both parties were provided remediation and the victim/visitor decided to leave and allow the offender/visitor stay with the patient.
