On 12-08-2019, at 8:21 AM, Augusta University Police found a vehicle damaged while parked in Parking Lot #8 on the Health Science Campus. The Officers also noted drug paraphernalia in the driver’s side cup holder. Contact was made with the driver, the offender/student. The offender/student reported the vehicle was damaged off campus. Officers requested consent to search because of the drug paraphernalia and the offender/student granted the request. A search of the vehicle found a brown leafy substance that was tested and found not to be marijuana. The offender/student was cited for possession of drug objects and released.
