On 03/25/2020, at 3:47 PM, Augusta University Police responded to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia (CHOG), PICU waiting room, in reference to a report of Domestic Violence. The Officers made contact with the victim/visitor The victim/visitor stated the offender/visitor struck her face with a closed hand and spit on her after becoming mad over cell phone text messages. The victim and offender are parents of a patient. Another visitor witnessed some of the attack. parents of a patient. The offender/visitor left the area prior to the officers arrival.
