On 05/22/2020 at 9:21 AM, Augusta University Police Department responded to the Augusta University Medical Center Room 7053 in reference to possible drug possession. When the Officers arrived they met with the offender/visitor. The offender/visitor admitted to owning a bag that the drugs were supposed to be in and consented to a search of the bag. The search found a glass jar containing a green leafy substances which tested positive for marijuana. The offender/visitor was taken into custody and it was determined that he was visiting a patient that had a protection order against him.
