On 11/01/2020, at 10:57 AM, Augusta University Police responded to University Village Apartments, in reference to an assault. The responding Officers met with the victim/student and the offender/student. Both parties related to the Officers that they were involved in a relationship and, after play fighting, got into a physical altercation. Both parties further stated during the altercation the offender/student grabbed a kitchen knife and pointed it at the victim/student. A short time later another resident of the apartment took the knife away from the offender/student. Both parties declined to prosecute.
