On 03/13/2021, at 3:26 hours, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Augusta University, bus stop adjacent to Parking Lot #29. The responding Officers met with the offender/visitor for a welfare check. During the interaction the Officers requested medical assistance because the offender/visitor appeared in distress. The medical assistance arrived and it was found that the offender/visitor had a pill bottle containing a white powered substance. The substance was tested and found to be an illegal drug and held for destruction. The offender/visitor was transported to a hospital for treatment.
