On 07/04/2021, at 3:35 PM, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Augusta University Medical Center, Emergency Room, in reference to a drug violation. When the Officers arrived they met with the complainant/employee. The complainant/employee reported finding a green leafy substance in the offender/patient’s belongings. The drugs were confiscated for destruction. Anyone with additional information about this incident may contact the AU Police Department at 706-721-2911.
