On 10/10/2021, at 11:46 AM, Augusta University Police responded to University Village Apartments on the Summerville Campus in reference to stalking. When the Officer arrived, he met with the victim/student. The victim/student reported the offender/ex-boyfriend has been threatening her repeatedly via social media after a verbal argument the day before. The Responding Officer noted threatening texts from the offender/ex-boyfriend on the victim/students cellular phone. AUPD assisted the victim/student in obtaining a stalking ex parte temporary protective order. Arrest warrants were also sought and granted naming the offender/ex-boyfriend as the offender.
