On 12/20/2021, at 08:51 AM, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Augusta University Medical Center, Emergency Room, in reference to a drug violation. When the officers arrived they met with the suspect/patient. The suspect/patient was found to be in possession of marijuana. Officers issued a misdemeanor citation and trespassed the suspect/patient from Augusta University properties. The marijuana was collected as evidence.
