On 12/31/2021 at approximately 2:34 P.M., Augusta University Police officers responded to a verbal altercation at the Medical Office Building. Upon further investigation, they discovered that the offender/visitor struck the victim/visitor in the stomach while attempting to reach for her cell phone. Further investigation revealed that the victim/visitor did not wish to pursue criminal charges. The offender/visitor was released and no charges were filed.
