On 02/21/2022 at 5:58 AM, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Emergency Room at Augusta University Medical Center in reference to a drug complaint. Upon their arrival, they met with the complainant/employee who handed over a white powdery substance found in a seat located in the triage check-in area. The items were secured and labeled for destruction. No suspects have been identified at this time.
