On 03/30/2022 at 12:54 PM, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Emergency Room at Augusta University Medical Center in reference to a drug complaint. Upon their arrival, they met with the complainant/employee who handed over suspected oxycodone and drug paraphernalia found in the patient/offender’s clothing. The items were later turned over to the South Carolina Highway Patrol as part of their ongoing investigation into a traffic crash in their jurisdiction.
