On 06/05/2022 at 10:19 AM, Augusta University Police Officers were conducting a patrol of Augusta University property in the 1200 block of Walton Way. An individual who was previously banned from Augusta University property was found inside an Augusta University vehicle. The individual was arrested and a search incident to arrest was conducted and suspected methamphetamine was in their possession. The individual was transported to the Richmond County Detention Center on trespassing and drug violation charges.
