On 04/15/2019, at 5:47 PM, the Augusta University Police Department responded to the Augusta University Medical Center (AUMC) Emergency Room in reference to a subject wearing a mask with a gun. The Officers arrived and were directed to a male subject standing outside of the Emergency Room. The subject was detained and further investigation revealed the subject/offender placed a costume mask and a BB gun inside a vehicle parked outside of the Emergency Room. The subject/offender was a visitor and has no connection to AUMC. The subject/offender was arrested.
