On 01/28/2017, at 10:29 AM, Augusta University Police were dispatched to the front entrance outside the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in reference to a fight. Officers made contact with the two subjects, who stated they had a verbal argument. It was discovered that one of the subjects had an active warrant from Richmond County and was placed under arrest. A search of the subject found a small amount of a substance believed to be marijuana in their pants pocket. The substance tested positive for marijuana and was taken as evidence. The subject was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana, processed and booked into the Richmond County Jail. The other subject was released.
