On 04/24/2017, at 7:42 PM, Augusta University Police responded to the Augusta University Medical Center EMS room P-2, in reference to a domestic incident. The victim stated the father of her child became upset about a cell phone conversation the victim was having with a third party. The male subject hit the victim twice, took her cell phone and keys then fled the scene. Officers took statements from the victim and witnesses, and processed warrants for Theft by Taking and Simple Battery.
