On 02/27/19, at 12:11 AM, Augusta University Police were notified of a sexual battery that was committed at University Village on 02/25/2019 shortly after 2200 hours. The victim/student stated that the offender/student started a movie, then began rubbing her arms and escalated to rubbing his genitals against her. The offender/student then undressed the victim/student. The victim/student further reported that she attempted to leave, and the offender/student prevented her from doing so. The victim/student was able to talk the offender/student into stopping and driving her back home. The incident is currently under investigation.
