On 08-09-2020, at 3:12 PM, Augusta University Police Investigations responded to Augusta University Oak Hall in reference to the smell of marijuana. When the Officers arrived they met with the complainant/resident assistant. The complainant/resident assistant escorted the officers to the third floor near room 3026. The Officers met with the offender/student of room 3026 who admitted to having marijuana and turned it over to the Officers. The violation was turned over to Housing and the marijuana was secured for destruction. Anyone with additional information about this incident may contact the AU Police Department at 706-721-2911.
