On 06/09/2022 at 6:13 AM, Augusta University Police Officers responded to the Augusta University Medical Center in reference to a sexual assault complaint. Upon their arrival, they met with the complainant/employee who reported being touched inappropriately by an individual. Augusta University Police conducted an investigation and subsequently arrested the individual for a charge of sexual battery.
