On 11/03/2019, at 10:33 PM, Augusta University Police responded to University Village Apartments in reference to an armed robbery. Responding Officers met with the victim/student who reported he was walking on a trail adjacent to University Village when he passed the offender. The victim/student then said he heard a gun cock and the offender demanded he empty his pockets. After the victim/student emptied his pockets the offender fled the area in an unknown direction. A complete search of the immediate and surrounding areas was done but the offender was not located.
